One World Trade Center to Light Up Yellow for Sunshine Foundation
Wish to Be Granted Near Site for 16-Year Old Recipient
NEW YORK CITY- The spire of One World Trade Center in New York City will be lit yellow on the evening of February 7, 2018 to spread awareness of Next Level Trainings’ Philadelphia- based leadership team goal to raise $80,000 for the Sunshine Foundation.
At the event, The Sunshine Foundation will make a dream come true for 16-year old Yamilette Machua who has low-functioning autism and intellectual delays. She will be joined by her mother, Martha, and sister, Mixdale, as the Sunshine Foundation and Next Level Trainings grant her wish of taking a trip to various theme parks in Central Florida.
“The Sunshine Foundation is proud of our work since 1976 to help children and their families all over the country see brightness in their lives,” said Sunshine Foundation President, Kate Sample. “My late husband, Bill, would be proud to see what he started honored with tomorrow’s
special lighting of One World Trade Center, and we’re delighted to make Yamilette’s dreams come true during this special presentation.”
“Next Level Trainings is delighted to work with the Sunshine Foundation and raise money for the great work they do,” said Nafie Nafie, student captain of Next Level Trainings. “We are honored to be a part of tomorrow’s event and hope to hit our $80,000 goal by February 16 th .”
The sole purpose of the Sunshine Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children whose parents
cannot provide them with their dream due to the financial strain that the illness may cause. Next Level Trainings is a transformational leadership training center with locations in Columbus, OH and Philadelphia, PA. The trainings and workshops are designed to unlock a student’s
power, passion, and purpose while making an impact in the world around them. The Next Level Trainings alumni community is a highly-connected, committed, and resourceful network of leaders dedicated to making a difference in the world.
